Racers and Spectators,
   I realize I made a bad decision when I upgraded the racing surface 2 years ago. After dealing with the lawyers, engineering costs , and not getting a settlement from the contractors, I was faced with starting from scratch again.
   I went to the bank and started the process of getting a small business administration loan. I was told it wouldn't take that long since I was approved in 2008. Well as things happen, the process is taking a lot longer to get done.
   I stay in touch with the bank all the time waiting to hear. Even Last Friday, the bank said we should hear something soon.
   Nobody wants to get Lubbock Dragway up and going more than I do. Your support has meant so much to me. I have been in business 28 years and it will take more than this to put me out of business.
